Welcome to Darwin Matthews Solicitors. Although we are, in effect, a newly-formed company of solicitors (September 2011) in Shropshire, our team of lawyers has been working in the county for many years and has a wealth of experience across a wide range of legal services.
Darwin Matthews Solicitors is a Lexcel accredited company of lawyers, which means that the Law Society has officially recognised our high standards of practice management and client care.
Our aim is to provide clients with cost-effective legal advice and solutions in an environment which is positive, friendly and professional. We believe that, in many instances, people are “put off” from seeking valuable legal advice by what is regarded as “stuffiness” and also a lack of clarity on costs. We work on a “fixed fee” basis where at all possible, and aim to be user-friendly in general and highly competitive on costs specifically.

Darwin Matthews Solicitors was formally established in Sept 2011, but emerged from a firm called Howard Shah which was set up in Shrewsbury in 2006.
